#3Amigas Valentine’s Gift Guide

February has arrived and with it love and hearts abound all around. This year will be my 12th Valentine’s Day with my husband and every year that goes by I think I treasure the day more and more.

Our first Valentine’s day together I awoke to find myself alone at home and as usual late for work. Abraham (and our car) was missing. Turns out he went to Publix very early to get me a gift. He came back with the most hideous pink vase ever made, inside it were three dying daisies. He walked in with a smile to find me furious because I was going to be late for work. The little flowers didn’t make things better. The Valentine’s that followed were something similar to that – either I had to work or he had to work and after the pink vase we never really got each other gifts. At some point we decided we weren’t going to have a traditional celebration. We stayed home and got each other cards or maybe sent a text or email.

Having said that, putting together this guide was lots of fun. I felt like buying a lot of things for him and believe me…I want him to buy me everything that you’ll see on these pages. It was a sort of making up with Valentine’s Day for me

So what’s my favorite thing on the guide? Well, I really would love to get him the Nike Fuel Band (and want one for myself) and now that he is traveling a lot I think the CVS Personalized Case would be a great idea – that way he can have a picture of us at all times.
