Hi gente! If you are like me you are probably realizing that Valentine’s is only a few days away. I’ll be honest I have never been big on the V-Days celebrations. Most years we stay home and make it low key and we rarely give each other gifts (better than last minute buying at Wallgreens).
So here are some ideas for you Valentine lovers (and haters). I’m going to try to keep them all Miami based and hopefully they will add a little variation to your day.
Eat In: Italian Food & Cakes
If you are like me and want to stay home but don’t want to cook here’s an option! Italian Food and Cakes is offering homemade food at a great price.

How about a concert? Valentine’s Day at Fairchild
If going out to a restaurant or staying in is not your thing…why don’t you head out to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden for their Valentine’s Day Concert – featuring Nicole Henri. I’ve only heard Nicole sing a couple of times and she has brought me to tears.
So hey, Fairchild as a backdrop + Nicole singing – you are bound to fall in love, reconnect, share a special moment or simply enjoy one of Miami’s most beautiful voices.
So you want something different? Miami Food Tours
How about a guided walking tasting tour around South Beach? You get to spend three hours learning about local food, history and architecture. For tickets and more info check out Miami Food Tours.
And if you need chocolate…plus a giveaway
If you know me, you know that I don’t need Valentine’s to enjoy my chocolate. I honestly would make chocolate day every day. And if I were closer to Coral Gables it would be Romanicos Chocolate Day. Romanicos Chocolate Truffle Day to be exact. Romanicos – Venezuelan chocolate handmade Truffles day. Ok. you get the idea.
